Travelport enhances travel payment options

eNett International has entered into an agreement with UseMyServices to integrate its vNett virtual card solution with UseMyCard, the powerful e commerce payment solution that leverages the global acceptance of credit cards.

Consumers without credit cards, or those who choose not to use their credit cards for e commerce, can instantly purchase a virtual UseMyCard Travel MasterCard for the exact amount needed to complete the electronic transaction using funds from their online bank. Unlike paying with a traditional card, the vNett virtual card solution generates a 16-digit MasterCard virtual account number for each transaction, eliminating the possibility of misuse.

Brian Crozier, global business development, UseMyServices commented, “UseMyCard is a safe, cost effective and efficient means for e commerce merchants to accept more volume through their existing card processors. The UseMyCard Travel MasterCard is currently in beta and will be presented at the upcoming Airline and
Travel Payments Summit being held in Toronto on 12-13 October 2011, with plans to go live during the first quarter of 2012.”

“We are pleased to have been selected by UseMyServices as their preferred virtual card payments provider,” said Darryl Jang, senior vice president, Business Development, eNett International. “UseMyCard is the first online consumer facing service to utilize vNett’s new functionality, enabling payments to be made in multiple currencies,” he added.

Joseph Iuso, CEO/CTO, UseMyServices concluded, “We look forward to working with eNett International to build a strong global track record in the travel industry, by issuing virtual cards to deliver instant account settlement
