Travelocity is launching its Android application, which has the same great features as its other mobile applications, allowing customers to access daily deals, book flights and hotels, and discover destination information.

We’re excited to bring the Travelocity app to Android users.”

Along with being able to shop and book both flights and hotels directly, the Travelocity Android app gives customers the ability to:
• Access Travelocity itineraries
• Shop and book Top Secret Hotels - unpublished rates that are up to 55 percent off Travelocity’s regular rates for the same top hotels on the same day
• Shop daily deals for hotels
• Get up-to-the-minute information on flight status
• View seat maps
• Check out traffic and airport driving directions

In addition to these useful travel tools, the app offers travelers a variety of Frommer’s destination guides, with local information on popular events, activities, and restaurants.

The Android application is free to download from the Android Market. .

In Europe today, City.Mobi is celebrating the success of its new guide to London.
