Based on Travelocity’s Cheapest Days to Travel Matrix, budget-conscious travelers should opt to depart on Wednesday, May 21 and return on Sunday, May 25 for an average round-trip ticket price of $338. In contrast, the most expensive days to fly this Memorial Day are a Sunday, May 18 departure and a return flight on either Memorial Day (Monday, May 26) or Wednesday, May 28, with round trip prices of $589 and $592 respectively.
