Park Hyatt Sydney’s, general manager Andrew Mensforth said, “we are delighted to introduce The Spa at Park Hyatt Sydney, an enhanced spa facility with five newly designed treatment rooms, plus a relaxation room and two aromatherapy steam rooms. The rooftop pool and spa feature cabanas and a sundeck where you can enjoy refreshments overlooking Sydney Harbour, the Harbour Bridge and Opera House”.

BARstudio have designed all elements of The Spa featuring a light and relaxing colour scheme of beiges, ivory and natural tones, void of large contrasts in order to create a peaceful environment. The textures are warm and rich to the touch, including natural timber floors, soft limestone, luxurious fabrics and textile wall coverings.

Filtered natural light streams throughout, soft fabric pendant ceiling lights adorn the public areas, while blown glass wall lights feature in relaxing treatments rooms. Commissioned artworks and artefacts from renowned Australian artists are on display in each room, ranging from sculptures, to prints and paintings.
