Reinforcing its commitment to community engagement, sustainable development, and enhancing quality of life, the Department of Finance in Ajman has announced its participation in the “Our Happy Summer 2026” programme, organised by the Government of Ajman. Through a series of educational, awareness, and interactive initiatives, the Department aims to make the most of the summer break by promoting community participation and equipping the youth with essential financial, digital, and future-ready skills.

This year’s participation features three flagship programmes that combine learning with hands-on experience. These include the “Abacus Challenge Camp”, which focuses on developing mental arithmetic and concentration skills; “Ajman Mal Plus”, an innovative programme that combines financial literacy with artificial intelligence applications; and the “Play it Right!” programme, an interactive recreational activity designed for all members of the community, offering an engaging experience that blends learning with entertainment while encouraging community participation.

The Department’s participation reflects its ongoing efforts to support the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030 by investing in people, strengthening financial and digital literacy, and empowering younger generations with critical thinking, analytical, and innovation skills that contribute to building a more knowledgeable and creative society.

Commenting on the participation, H.E. Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, said: “We believe that investing in people is the true driver of sustainable development. Through carefully designed programmes that combine financial education, critical thinking, and the use of modern technologies in an interactive learning environment, we reaffirm our commitment to nurturing a generation that is equipped to keep pace with future developments, in line with the Government of Ajman’s vision and Ajman Vision 2030 objectives to build a knowledge-based society and an innovation-driven economy.”

He added: “Through our participation, we aim to provide an enriching and inspiring summer experience that encourages children and young people to acquire new skills in an environment that fosters creativity and engagement. This strengthens their positive role within society while reaffirming the Department’s commitment to supporting national development initiatives that enhance quality of life.”
