Montréal-based affiliate commerce platform Stay22 has strengthened its executive team with two key hires, Fabien Loupy as CTO & Louis-Charles Genest as CFO. The appointments mark a new chapter for Stay22 as it approaches its tenth anniversary and surpasses $1 billion in annual transactions

Fabien Loupy and Louis-Charles Genest are joining the travel tech company based in Montreal (Canada) as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Financial Officer, respectively. After successfully leading technology at Stay22, Hamad Al-Khabbaz will be from now on Chief Innovation Officer of the firm that he co-founded in 2016, a newly created role to support the further development of the company.

Loupy brings a valuable experience as VP Technology at the global e-commerce platform SSENSE, leading its growth and generating over $1B in annual sales and operating across 100+ countries. He scaled the engineering team from 40 to a peak of 270 and spearheaded the launch of a mobile app that drove hundreds of millions in revenue. Together with his team, he architected a highly resilient tech stack capable of absorbing extreme traffic surges which became a key competitive advantage for the company.

Genest has a record of scaling finance and administrative operations while driving transformative merger and acquisitions activities. He led corporate functions at District M multiplying its annual revenue by eight and its team size by 10 in six years. He also ran the ad-tech company merger with Sharethrough, overseeing the post-merger integration of both companies afterwards.

After record results in the first half of 2025, Stay22 is ready to expand beyond the travel sector and create more revenue opportunities for both companies and members of its affiliate programme alike. As the business and staff grows, Stay22 has moved to bigger offices in Montreal to accommodate more than 100 employees by the end of this year.
