Silversea to visit more UK ports in 2010 than ever before

Silversea will visit more UK ports in 2010 than ever before in the company’s fifteen year history.  Four out of six ships from the luxury fleet will call at British shores, providing more choice and convenience for Silversea guests.

The number of people taking a cruise holiday from British ports increased by nearly a quarter in 2008, with 40 per cent of cruises booked last year departing from UK shores.  In response to this marked increase, the new Silversea UK programme features fifteen voyages, departing or arriving at a British port, on Prince Albert II, Silver Cloud, Silver Whisper and also Silver Spirit, the newest and largest Silversea ship due to be launched in December.

“Silversea offer exceptional voyages, with the highest standards of personal service, and a number of all-inclusive luxurious extras, adding great value to the overall experience.” said Trudy Redfern, Managing Director, UK & Ireland.  She added, “The benefit of travelling to or from an accessible UK port where you can start your holiday immediately adds even greater appeal to today’s traveller.”
