The Sheraton Richmond West will fly a new flag on June 28, when it converts to the Ramada Plaza Hotel Richmond West and joins the Ramada hotel brand.
“The franchise agreement with Sheraton will expire in June, which gave us the opportunity to review the market and explore the possibility of flagging with a different brand,” said Bret Ellison, the hotel’s general manager. “After a thorough search, we decided to join Ramada, and the larger Wyndham Hotel Group family, as a Ramada Plaza hotel. With nearly 900 properties around the world, Ramada is robust, well-known brand that resonates well with business and leisure travelers alike. It’s a brand we believe suits this hotel and market well.”
