People heading for the Leuchars Diamond Jubilee Airshow on Saturday 15 September can take advantage of a special all-in-one offer from ScotRail. The offer is for return rail travel to Leuchars from any station in Scotland plus entry to the Airshow – and adults who book their tickets before Friday 14 September will receive a discount.

And the train operator has organised more services and longer trains to and from Leuchars station, which is 15-minute walk from the Airshow entrance.

Additional trains will operate from Edinburgh / Inverkeithing / Dundee to Leuchars between 08.00 and 11.00.

Customers travelling home can also take advantage of extra services from Leuchars to Edinburgh and Dundee from around 16.00 until just after 19.00.

Queuing systems will be in place at key stations before and after the event, and extra staff will be on hand to assist customers.

The all-in-one tickets are available at all staffed stations or by calling ScotRail Telesales.

Other ticket options may be available. Customers should enquire at the time of booking. For example, families heading to Leuchars may also wish to consider ScotRail’s popular Kids Go Free ticket.  This allows up to two children aged up to 15 to travel free off-peak when accompanied by a fare paying adult purchasing a Kids Go Free ticket.

Train journeys to Leuchars may involve connecting trains. Customers should be aware that, due to the amount of people travelling, connecting services cannot be guaranteed.
