Sabre appoints new vice president, Airline Solutions, Europe, Middle East and Africa

Sabre Corporation, a global technology provider to the travel and tourism industry, has appointed Shahin Taromsari as Vice President of Airline Solutions, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Taromsari will lead Sabre’s airline business in EMEA, a key growth region for the company. He is tasked with growing the company’s revenue and customer base in EMEA, and maintaining successful and trusted partnerships with existing airline customers.

A technology industry veteran, Taromsari brings more than 20 years of technology experience from leadership positions with EDS, IBM and most recently as Vice President of Global Sales with Oracle. 

He holds a BSe in Information Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University, a PhD in Business Information Management Systems from Manchester University, a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA in International Business Studies & Strategic Thinking from Harvard Business School.
