Red Carnation Hotels brings The Duke of Richmond, into the collection

Perfectly located in St Peter Port, the three-star Duke of Richmond overlooks a quiet park and the marinas, with fantastic views of the harbour and neighbouring islands of Herm and Sark.  It has 76 bedrooms, a large restaurant, stylish cocktail bar, an outside terrace with heated pool and function space.

The hotel is just a five minute walk from The Old Government House Hotel & Spa (OGH), an existing member of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, which earlier this summer became the first and only five star hotel in Guernsey.

Under the direction of president and founder of Red Carnation Hotels, Mrs Beatrice Tollman, The Duke of Richmond will undergo an extensive upgrade programme, which will include the refurbishment of the bedrooms and public areas and the addition of another restaurant.

Commenting on the acquisition, Jonathan Raggett, Managing Director of Red Carnation Hotels, said:
