The Queen has resorted to flying on low-cost carriers in a bid to keep the mounting maintenance bills of her palaces in check, according to one of the press releases doing the rounds on April Fools Day. Her Majesty is filmed pulling up to an easyJet plane in a Range Rover in a YouTube video. Accompanied by her entourage, she is then filmed boarding the plane.

According to sources at Luton Airport, she was flying to Scotland for her Easter break at Balmoral Castle, and that it was the first time she had taken a public flight. However there were no sign of her corgies.
