Prepare for possible holiday disruption in February and Easter break

Leading travel add-ons company HolidayExtras.com is reassuring customers worried about possible strike action at British airports.

The company has reminded customers that they can cancel their booking and get a full refund, as long as they have taken out HolidayExtras.com’s cancellation protection.

Cancellation protection costs 99p for airport parking bookings, and £2.49 for airport hotel bookings and is valid for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the date of departure.

Andrea Clayton, head of partnerships said: “We very much hope that the strikes won’t take place, but anyone planning to travel in February and Easter must be prepared for the possibility of having to change their holiday plans.

“We urge customers to take out our cancellation protection when they book. The cost is minimal - but it’s worth it for peace of mind.”
