Olympic Champion Julien Alfred to visit WTM as new Tourism Ambassador for Saint Lucia
Saint Lucia’s tourism sector has achieved significant milestones so far this year, driven by a surge in visitor arrivals and enhanced air connectivity. The island’s successful hosting of ICC World Cup Cricket matches, the prominence of the Jazz & Arts Festival and attraction of Lucian Carnival, combined with improved infrastructure, has reinforced its position as a premier destination for tourism.
Saint Lucia also has a new Tourism Ambassador with Olympic sprinting champion Julien Alfred officially on board. Alfred’s new role is to help raise the island’s profile further as a global travel destination. World Travel Market is her first official engagement as Tourism Ambassador and throughout the coming months, she will participate in promotional events for Saint Lucia in key markets internationally as well as wearing joint-branded kit at selected athletic events.
NEW TOURISM ACT

Renovation of the Choiseul Arts and Crafts Centre and restaurant
