From mid-July the international hotel chain Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts and the Arabian Etihad Airways are entering into an important new partnership. Members of the Etihad frequent flyer programme Etihad Guest can now collect miles worldwide whenever they stay in one of the 28 Swissôtels throughout 16 countries.

“This new partnership expresses our appreciation of our Arabian guests,” says Petra Götting, Vice President Marketing & Sales Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts. “The Middle East is an important market offering us steadily growing potential. We are also opening our first hotel in this region, the Swissôtel Makkah in Saudi Arabia, at the start of next year – another good reason to cooperate with a successful Arabian airline.”

As the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, based at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), Etihad Airways now carries more than 17 million guests to over 50 destinations.
