New Couple’s Spa Ritual at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius

New Couple’s Spa Ritual at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius

The smell of fragrant coconut ylang ylang oil caught in a tropical Indian Ocean breeze; the sound of calming melodies gently playing; the sweet flavour of a Wild Berry and Chilli Daiquiri sipped while gazing out over the lush Mauritian mangroves; and the touch of a partner’s soothing hand massaging away daily stresses – experience a truly sensual state of relaxation with the new Sugar and Spice Spa Ritual at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita.

In the privacy of a beautiful overwater couple’s suite, let all five senses indulge in a tantalising journey of sights, sounds, flavours, fragrances and touch in a ritual designed to bring couples closer together.

Beginning with a Mauritian Fusion massage lesson, couples will be taught by one of the Spa’s skilled therapists and will learn the art of soothing massage techniques in a lasting token of love that can be shared for years to come.

The perfect newlywed treatment or a magical way to recapture the romance on a secluded retreat, the Sugar and Spice Ritual massage lesson is followed by a purifying Brown Sugar Body Polish with the sweet smell of ylang ylang oil filling the air and the act of sugar exfoliation awakening the skin cells in a fresh burst of life. The ritual finishes with the Resort’s signature deep pressure massage with a sugar cane stick, followed by a hint of spice provided by black pepper massage balm.

Refresh with a tantalising Sweet Lime Mojito and a tangy Wild Berry and Chilli Daiquiri, which are served as couples enjoy the sweeping views of the serene lagoon in some private relaxation time in their suite.
