Mr Toad’s serves up sustainable refreshments and initiatives at COP 28

Mr Toad’s, Dubai’s go-to destination for big screen sports action, tasty deals and family-friendly atmosphere, is serving up a variety of sustainable refreshments and initiatives at its onsite outlet at COP 28.
Mr Toad’s, which expects to cater for more than 7,000 COP 28 visitors, has teamed up with MMI to offer carbon-negative hops and sustainable grape at the summit, taking place at Dubai’s Expo City from Thursday, 30 November to Tuesday, 12 December.

The restaurant is also offering a tasty variety of plant-based meals, with vegetarian and vegan dishes accounting for around half of its COP 28 menu.  Plus, Mr Toad’s is going plastic-free, with all drinks served in reusable bottles and glasses, for COP 28 and beyond, as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and optimum waste management.

Mr Toad’s COP 28 beverage menu will lead with carbon negative hops, which means that any carbon footprint during the brewing and transportation processes are offset by initiatives – such as reforestation and peatland restoration – that protect the environment. In addition, proceeds from grape sales will go towards marine environmental activities such as ocean clean ups that remove plastic and other harmful materials from the sea.

Open daily from 11 am to 11 pm and located opposite the UAE Pavilion, next to the Green Zone Stage in COP 28 Green Zone, Mr Toad’s is dishing up a wide variety of food, including exclusive COP 28 items such as Chicken Schnitzel, Thai Green Curry and Edamame, and plant based options like Superfood Salad, Dynamite Cauliflower and Veggie Burger.  Menu favourites, including Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, Calamari, Chicken Wings and Mr Toad’s Burger, will also be available.

Mr Toad’s, located at six Premier Inn hotels in Dubai, is also on site with two outlets at the Emirates Dubai 7s, taking place at the Sevens Stadium on National Day weekend, from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 December.
