The red and white carpet, made for the Princely Wedding by Fashion For Floors, is beginning a new chapter.

The carpet has been walked on by the Princely couple and many crowned heads.  It measures 200 metres long and over 2 metres wide, and is about to be cut up, signed and numbered by the newlyweds.

Each piece will be sold at an auction, part of which will be via the Internet.

The money raised will be divided between the Albert II of Monaco Foundation and Princess Charlene’s Foundation.
