Francisco Blake Mora, Mexico’s Secretary of the Interior, has been killed in a helicopter crash near Mexico City.

The helicopter was en route to Cuernavaca where Francisco, who was appointed to the Ministerial post last year, was due to attend meetings.

All eight people on board were killed. It has been indicated that poor weather conditions may have been to blame, according to reports.
