Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta introduces bespoke Yoga Sessions for busy travellers

Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta’s location in the heart of the city’s financial and diplomatic district, is ideal for both business and leisure travellers. As the most luxurious hotel in the city, guests can indulge in comfortable and spacious accommodation, a range of meeting options, four restaurants, a stylish bar and a comprehensive Fitness and Wellness Centre.
In order to help guests relax and focus on their health and wellbeing, the hotel is now offering private yoga sessions by a professional trainer. The programme has been devised specifically to restore guests balance and mobility after extensive travel, and to ensure a harmonious stay.
The one-hour private, bespoke yoga sessions can be booked at the hotel’s Fitness and Wellness and can be conducted either in the state-of-the art fitness and wellness studio, or at the swimming pool area, surrounded by lush tropical landscape gardens with views of the city skyline.
The yoga sessions focus on exercises according to body type, fitness levels, stress levels and personal health and wellness goals. To revitalize and relax after the yoga session, guests can also experience a Harmonious Indonesian Wellness Treatment in a luxurious treatment room located at the Fitness and Wellness Centre. This 90-minute treatment begins with a full exfoliation, helping the body unwind after a long flight. The specifically designed massage uses rhythmic and therapeutic movements of traditional Indonesian massage to loosen up tired muscles and any areas of tension in the back.
In addition, the hotel’s advanced Fitness Centre has a range of cardio and strength equipment as well as a selection of free weights. There is also Kinesis Studio equipped to improve core strength and flexibility, with personal training available by appointment.
“Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta has long been renowned for its personalized service,” said Andrew Abram, General Manager. “By looking after our guests wellbeing, we hope that they depart feeling revitalized and energized, and looking forward to visiting us once more,” he added.
