Hurtigruten’s ‘1893 Ambassador’ loyalty program attracts thousands of past guests

Just six months after its launch, Hurtigruten’s “1893 Ambassador ” Loyalty Program has garnered more than 16,000 registrations from past guests – a resounding response that has prompted Hurtigruten to expand membership beyond Europe and the U.S. to customers worldwide. Members enjoy exclusive discounts of 10% off any Classic Norway voyage longer than three days and 5% off an Explorer Voyage to Europe or the remote destinations of Greenland, Antarctica or Spitsbergen. Additionally, members receive 5% savings on selected excursions on the Norwegian Coastal Voyage itineraries. A bevy of other benefits includes a bridge visit on the Norwegian Coastal Voyage; a welcoming fruit basket; three-day bicycle rentals; a quarterly member newsletter with background stories and insider tips; and a personalized member card.

The discount rewards can also be combined with Early-Booking fares and other selected discount programs. Membership in the program is free of charge and its included discounts are for the cruise component only.
