Huge Hotel Auctions Scheduled for April and May

National Commercial Auctioneers, LLC, [www.natcomauctions.com] announces the sale of more hotels at auction over the next two months than any other auctioneer in the country, according to Stephen Karbelk, CAI, AARE, President of National Commercial Auctioneers.

“If you are in the market to buy a hotel, then the next two months could be very profitable times for you. We are proud to be representing so many lenders and special servicers in the efficient, market-driven sale of so many hospitality properties,” says Karbelk. “We are on track to sell over 20 hotels this year. We closed on 3 hotel sales earlier this year, have a 4th under contract, and seven more hotel auctions scheduled through May 18th.”

The hotel auction opportunities that National Commercial Auctioneers has scheduled include: a 139-room Quality Inn across the street from Oklahoma State University and a 138-room Quality Inn on Hwy 77 in Ponca City, Okla., both properties scheduled to sell at absolute auction on April 2, 2010; a 225-room hotel located in the heart of Winter Haven, Fla., between Orlando and Tampa, to be sold at absolute auction on April 19; two hotels selling together with a combined 274 rooms located on I-10 in Pensacola, Fla., to be sold at absolute auction on April 20; a 201-room full service Holiday Inn, a favorite hotel for business travelers, located in downtown Sheffield., Ala., to be sold at absolute auction on April 21; and a 70-room limited service closed hotel on I-65 midway between Indianapolis and Louisville to be sold pursuant to Jackson Circuit Court order on May 18.
