HRG experts participate in Business Travel Show panel discussions
Experts from Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the award-winning international corporate services company, will share insights on business travel technology issues at the Business Travel Show in London in February. Paul Saggar and Nick Reynolds will participate in panel discussions that examine new methods of acquiring information and the subsequent implications.
Paul Saggar, Director of Technology and Product Development at HRG, will be speaking at 11:10 on Wednesday 8 February at the Tnooz sponsored panel discussion titled ‘Will mobile enhance or kill the relationship between the business travel agency and client?’
On the issue Saggar said, “Mobile technology is becoming ever prevalent in the field of business travel and although this will inevitably change the market’s landscape, the TMC will continue to have an important role. At HRG we have embraced these changes and now offer leading technology to our clients through our proprietary mobile services. This panel discussion provides a great opportunity to explore how the relationship between the TMC, travel buyer and business traveller will evolve as a result of new communication tools.”
Nick Reynolds, Head of Commercial and Service Delivery at HRG, will partake in the panel discussion ‘The distribution revolution – good or bad news for travel buyers?’ on Tuesday 7 February at 14:50.
Reynolds said, “Distribution is still a hot topic in the business travel industry and at HRG we work hard to ensure clients are always informed of what their best travel options are because one size doesn’t necessarily fit all. HRG has invested heavily in open design distribution technology so that we can accommodate both the low cost carrier model and independent supply chain products, such as direct connect. I’m looking forward to an open and frank debate with a very knowledgeable panel about whether the distribution revolution will truly alter the market and how it can impact clients.”
