Holland America Line names Pamela Baade Manager, Corporate Giving

Holland America Line announces Pamela Baade as manager, corporate giving, effective immediately. Baade will report to Sally Andrews, vice president, public relations.

In this role, Baade will oversee Holland America Line’s philanthropic and community giving activities, including non-profit sponsorships, On Deck for the Cure® benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure®; the Ship to Shelter donations program, the Employee Leadership Donation Program; and the Reduced Rate Cruise Donation Program for non-profits. Reporting to Pamela will be Kelsey Differding, donations coordinator, as well as community relations staff in Vancouver, San Diego, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale.

Previously, Baade served 16 years as manager of education and volunteer programs for Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation (WCF), where she helped create and implement WCF’s successful volunteer program and managed the foundation’s educational partnerships. In addition, she represented Weyerhaeuser on the Artsfund Allocations Committee and Corporate Volunteer Council.

Active in the community, Baade will serve as this year’s event co-chair for Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation’s Festival of Trees. She is also a board member for Washington Business Week, an inspirational program for high school students, and volunteers for the Seattle Aquarium’s Splash! planning committee.

Baade graduated from Chapman University with a master of arts in organizational leadership and from Saint Martin’s College with a bachelor of arts degree in marketing and a business minor.
