Hertz, Sabre renew distribution pact
Hertz has renewed its distribution agreement with Sabre Travel Network, providing Sabre Connected travel agents with continued access to the rental car company’s inventory from over 8,000 locations worldwide.
The Sabre global distribution system (GDS) drives more than $2 billion in car rental revenue each year and provides travel agents worldwide with the most efficient access to content from a variety of suppliers including airlines, cars, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators and more.
“Hertz is an important supplier in the Sabre GDS and we’re pleased to continue our long-term relationship with them,” said David Gross, Sabre Travel Network senior vice president, Supplier Distribution. “The Sabre GDS provides Hertz with multiple ways to increase revenues and serve its customers.”
The Sabre GDS has always led the industry in providing suppliers and travel agents with the most efficient and cutting-edge travel shopping experience. Today, Sabre provides suppliers a number of ways to increase their revenue including the ability to quickly and easily book ancillaries. Sabre will unveil additional innovations in the shopping and booking of ancillaries for cars later this year.
