Grand Hotel Tremezzo signs Superga partnership

Lake Como’s luxurious Grand Hotel Tremezzo has signed a new partnership with Superga.

The Turin-born brand chose the beautiful hotel on the lake to shoot their new ad campaign for the Superga Panatta Sport model, a remake of 1976 tennis shoe worn by tennis champion Adriano Panatta when he won Roland Garros, Davis Cup and the Rome International grand slams.

Earlier in the spring season, Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s sleek tennis court, framed by ancient parkland and gardens, was transformed into the film set for the new digital campaign created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Panatta’s victory at Roland Garros.

The filming was perfectly timed to coincide with this year’s transformation of the hotel’s 25,000sqm of lush parkland by celebrated landscape architect, designer and botanist Emilio Trabella – responsible for Lake Como abodes Villa Balbianello and Villa Oleandra.

The park also features the glamorous Flowers Pool, which was part of this year’s renovation project, and the Panoramic Path, an intense and peaceful garden track, ideal for exercising in the early morning – just remember to don the ultimate pair of Superga sneakers to walk it in true Italian style!
