The Bodrum by Paramount Hotels & Resorts has celebrated its opening with a glamorous gala.

The event was attended by a select group of high profile invitees from all over the world, including Hollywood star Nicole Kidman.

The resort is located on a unique one kilometre waterfront site of just over 100,000m2 in Torba Bay and offers outstanding vistas over the Aegean Sea.

Paramount Hotels & Resorts chief executive, Thomas van Vliet, said: “Most people remember the Paramount Pictures Mountain surrounded by 22 stars from the iconic films they have seen.

Underpinned by a magnificent décor by AC Design & Event Co, bringing the glittering spirit and grand atmosphere of the 1920’s to the resort and Bodrum, the evening started with a cocktail reception.

Guests were taken on a journey back in time, to the glamorous ambiance of the 1920’s, and were dazzled by the performance of Flapper Swing, an acoustic jazz band following in the footsteps of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli.

Masters of ceremonies, actress Laila Bin Khalifa and famous TV presenter Pierre Rabat, hosted the evening, which continued with dinner and renowned artists beginning to take the stage.

In addition to delightful entertainment, The Bodrum by Paramount Hotels & Resorts let its guests embark on a gastronomic culinary journey inspired by Californian cuisine, designed by executive producer culinary, Massimiliano Sperli.

Following an impressive firework show, the after party kicked off with a performance by DJ Doğuş Çabakçor, and also saw a performance by famous singer Nigar, with guests socialising and dancing until the wee hours of the morning.

The Bodrum by Paramount Hotels & Resorts boasts 134 luxuriously and elegantly appointed suites and villas, all set in lush landscaping with unparalleled panoramic views of the Aegean Sea.

Guests can indulge in unique gastronomic culinary experiences at four signature restaurants, including Italian, Lebanese and Asian Fusion cuisines.
