Four injured in Clipper Round the World Yacht Race
Four crew members participating in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race have been injured and are still at sea after a wave crashed onto their vessel.
There were four Britons among the four injured crew, who were hit by a storm in the Pacific Ocean, 400 miles off California, according to reports.
Paramedics were unable to board the ship due to poor weather conditions, however medical supplies have been dropped onto the boat.
The rest of the crew were uninjured by the incident.
The 40,000-mile (64,500km) race, with nine participating boats, started in Southampton in August.
