Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing and most profitable African airline, has announced the start of daily flights to London starting from July 8th, 2014.
Ethiopian started operations to London on April 1st, 1973 and has provided uninterrupted service to and from the city for more than 40 years.
Ethiopian chief executive Tewolde Gebremariam, said: “We are very happy to finally be able to offer daily service to our customers to and from London.
“Due to the airport congestion at London Heathrow, we were previously constrained to six weekly flights.
“Now our customers to and from London can enjoy convenient and hassle-free daily connections with our state-of-the art B787 aircraft, which offers the ultimate on-board comfort with reduced noise, the largest windows in the sky, dimmable lights, high ceilings and higher cabin humidity.”
With daily services to/from London, daily services to/from 48 African destinations, and very short connections through the airline’s main hub in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian offers the shortest total travel time to its valued customers whether they are traveling for business or leisure.
Ethiopian is a global Pan-African carrier serving 79 international destinations across five continents with over 200 daily flights and using the latest technology aircraft such as the B777s and B787s.
