Through the new travel platform, EL AL customers can book hotels outside of Israel, redeem Points for hotel bookings, and earn Matmid Points and Diamonds with every purchase.
The new platform is part of a broader initiative designed to support EL AL customers throughout their entire journey – from the flight, to accommodation, and soon, to attractions around the world.

EL AL is launching EL AL Travel – a new digital platform on the EL AL website for booking hotels outside of Israel. This marks the first step in a comprehensive strategic initiative to develop new growth engines and accompany customers throughout every stage of their vacation. The new platform enhances the travel experience beyond the flight itself, offering a full range of services, including hotel bookings at attractive prices, with the option to redeem Matmid Points, alongside earning Matmid Points and Diamonds on every booking.

The platform operates as part of the EL AL website and mobile app, enabling hotel bookings through a simple and user-friendly interface. It offers access to approximately 1.5 million hotels worldwide. In the future, EL AL will also offer the ability to book attractions, allowing customers to plan and book all aspects of their vacation in one place – from flights and hotels to activities, shows, sporting events, tours, and destination attractions.

The launch of the platform significantly expands earning opportunities for Matmid Frequent Flyer Program members and FLY CARD credit cardholders, now including hotel bookings outside of Israel. From today, members can earn Matmid Points and Diamonds, and redeem Points for hotel stays worldwide. Booking a hotel through EL AL Travel is not only simple and convenient, but also more rewarding and attractive.

To mark the launch of EL AL Travel, EL AL is offering a special promotion for Matmid Frequent Flyer Program members who hold a FLY CARD by Isracard. Customers who book a hotel through the new platform by the end of August 2026, for stays through the end of June 2027, will receive 10,000 Matmid Points as a gift.

The launch of EL AL Travel will be supported by a large-scale campaign across online and offline channels, featuring the company’s brand ambassador Hanan Ben Ari, alongside Amos Tamam, who has joined the campaign. The campaign aims to highlight the expanded opportunities to earn and redeem Points within the travel world, and to present the first phase of a broader initiative that the company plans to continue developing.
