Easyvoyage introduces measures to enforce unbiased quality reviews
Leading the way in the clampdown against fake travel reviews, Easyvoyage.co.uk, Europe’s travel portal of choice, has launched a novel Easytester competition to find the best hotel reviewers on EasyOpinions, the website’s travel community. The Easyopinions user-generated tool was recently re-launched to track false reviews by fraudulent contributors* and the new Easytester competition is an additional measure to encourage users to post quality, honest and reliable advice on the site.
The competition is judged by the Easyexperts, Easyvoyage’s expert team of journalists. Once a month, the team will select five of the best reviews posted on the website with a new winner announced every three months. The Easytester winner will be given the chance to go abroad with a partner of their choice to review hotels across the globe for a week; sharing their experiences with the site’s 100,000 daily visitors. The only two rules contributors should adhere to are; the contact details supplied must be real and contributors must post at least five detailed reviews of hotels discovered during their holiday.**
The competition follows the recent rebranding of the Easyvoyage website. The enhanced site builds on the portal’s aim to become the one stop shop for all travel information – providing relevant and digestible information as well as all the tools to help users make informed choices when booking their holiday. The site now features:
* 12 new sections of rich content
* 196,000 photos of holiday destinations to help holiday choices
* Improved user-friendliness and accessibility tools
* A new ratings system to help users better understand market trends, specifically price changes, helping to advise on the best time to travel and buy
* Efficient tools - a more exacting search engine functionality and a better visibility of the travel market
Jean-Pierre Nadir, founding president, Easyvoyage: “The new website marks our intention to continue to provide users with the most relevant and succinct information at their finger tips, making it easier for them to plan their travel. Our overriding objective has always been to provide unbiased and good quality hotel reviews to empower our readers to make informed decisions. The new competition helps achieve this by rewarding honest and articulate holidaymakers.”
