Low-cost airline easyJet has warned passengers flights to Portugal might be hit by strikes later today.

Luton-based easyJet said there was a “small risk” there may be some late notice disruption of flights to and from Faro and Oporto due to industrial action by ground handling staff.

“Our aim is to protect our customers and all flights to and from Portugal will operate as scheduled,” the airline said in a statement.

“There is a small risk that there might be some late notice disruption to flights, however we are taking all possible actions to guard against this.”
