East Coast showcases at Business Travel Show

Train operator East Coast is showcasing its innovative £7 million ‘Feel at Home’ brand marketing campaign to more than 6,000 corporate buyers and professionals at Europe’s leading business travel show.

The Business Travel Show is open today and tomorrow (Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 February 2014
) at London’s Earls Court 2 Exhibition Centre.

East Coast has a high-profile stand at the show, based around its ‘Feel at Home’ marketing campaign which promotes the relaxing benefits of choosing the train instead of driving or flying, including at-seat catering, city centre to city centre travel, Wi-Fi access and great views during the journey.

The train operator has been steadily gaining market share in competition with domestic airlines on its flagship routes between Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds and London King’s Cross. It’s now aiming to build on this success by taking its message directly to many of the travel industry’s most influential buyers and bookers.

East Coast Head of Sales Martin Turner said: “We’re spotlighting our Feel at Home brand campaign, which is all about the motivating idea of something which already happens: our customers travelling in comfort on our trains.


“Our stand at the Business Travel Show is a natural extension of the Feel at Home concept.
