Doyle Collection selects Pat King to lead next phase of development
The board of the Doyle Collection has announced the appointment of Pat King as chief executive.
King moves up to the top spot having previously held the position of chief financial officer.
He has over twenty years experience in the hotel industry having joined Jurys Doyle Hotel Group in 1990.
King was appointed chief financial officer of Jurys Doyle Hotel Group in 2006, where he played a key role in both the company’s reorganisation during 2007 and the £200 million refurbishment of its hotels, culminating in the rebrand and launch of the international luxury brand, The Doyle Collection, in 2008.
The Doyle Collection’s portfolio of eleven individual luxury hotels are located in the centre of six international cities - Dublin, Cork, London, Bristol, Boston and Washington DC.
The portfolio of eleven luxury hotels includes The Westbury Hotel in Dublin; The Marylebone, The Bloomsbury and The Kensington Hotels in London, The Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington DC and The Back Bay Hotel in Boston.
The Doyle Collection has a total of 2,150 bedrooms across its eleven hotels.
