DoubleTree by Hilton opens first hotel in Mexico City

DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of a newly renovated, upscale, full-service hotel in Mexico City, just a few miles from the heart of Zocalo, the city’s center.  The 96-room DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport is minutes from the Benito Juarez Mexico City Airport (MEX). The DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City formerly was an independent hotel and is owned and operated by Operadora de Hoteles y Restaurantes ITER, S.A. de C.V under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.

Renovations to the DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport are ongoing and include guest rooms and baths and the hotel’s fitness center.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport is near Parque Tezontle Mall, a Six Flags theme park, local museums, including the stunning Museo de Antropologia, and performance venues such as Palacio de los Deportes, Foro Sol and Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, providing a variety of activities and attractions for travelers of all ages. Numerous corporate offices including Schneider Electric, Deloitte, Grainger, Cooper Tools and Affinia are less than a mile away.

The hotel also has a 24-hour self-service business center and complimentary printing service that includes “print-from-your room” convenience.
