Carlson Rezidor announces the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa
Carlson Rezidor has reinforced its presence in Tunisia with the signing of two hotels, the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Sousse and the Radisson Blu Pearl Resort, Sousse.
Both are existing properties now undergoing full renovation and transformation before re-opening under the Radisson Blu flag in quarter two of 2016.
“We are delighted to further strengthen our portfolio in Tunisia where we are already present in Djerba and Hammamet.
“At the same time, these signings underline our commitment to the African continent where we now operate and develop 50 hotels,” said Wolfgang Neumann, president, Rezidor.
The two adjacent properties are located in the centre of Sousse providing sea views and direct beach access, therefore ideal to accommodate leisure and business guests alike.
The entire resort complex will offer all year round facilities spread over the two hotels.
The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Sousse will offer 217 rooms, three restaurants, bars, an indoor and outdoor pool and an extensive outdoor area.
The hotel will also feature a ballroom, four meeting rooms and more than 100 parking bays.
The Radisson Blu Pearl Resort, Sousse will provide 130 guest rooms, five restaurants, two bars, two swimming pools, a spa/fitness area and parking facilities.
Sousse is Tunisia’s third largest city and offers several cultural attractions such as the UNESCO protected old city and several medieval fortifications – all within walking distance from the hotels.
Sousse is easily accessible through the Monastir International Airport, which welcomes more than three million passengers annually, and through the new Enfidha International Airport.
Both airports are only 30 taxi minutes away from the hotels.
