Leading car hire firm, Avis Car Rental, today announces the launch of mobile Wi-Fi across 12 markets in Europe. From today, Avis UK customers will have access to 1GB per day internet access for as little as £8.50 per day.

The mobile Wi-Fi unit means users can connect up to five devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other Wi-Fi enabled devices, at any one time. Its compact, portable design means it can be taken out of the car, to the hotel, conference or business meeting – all with uninterrupted connectivity.

With Avis mobile Wi-Fi, customers now have cross-border connectivity, with no roaming charges, a first for the car hire industry in Europe.

Furthermore, with a fast download speed (21.6 Mbps), video-conferencing and accessing documents online is hassle-free, reliable and simple.
