Buckingham Palace to host Royal Wedding dress

The dress worn by the Duchess of Cambridge on her wedding day will go on show at Buckingham Place later this year officials have confirmed.

The news comes as Clarence House revealed Prince William and his new wife will take up residence at Kensington Palace, alongside their present location in North Wales.

Prince William is presently employed as an RAF search and rescue helicopter pilot.

While he previously lived in the property with his younger brother, Prince Harry, and his mother, Diana Spencer, the royal couple will this time occupy different accommodation. 

They are expected to move within the next few weeks.

Royal Wedding Dress

Buckingham Palace will next be open to the public from July 23rd until October 3rd,, when thousands of visitors are expected to catch a glimpse of the dress.

A multi-tiered replica of the wedding cake will also go on view, when the palace is next opened to the public.
