United Airlines today issued the following comments in response to the statement released earlier this afternoon by the Air Line Pilots Association regarding the coalition of union leaders representing Unitedå‘s organized employees:

  “United’s management team appreciates the long hours put in by the coalition in developing its framework.  We look forward to receiving the proposal and will give it our full attention and a prompt review.  We’re encouraged that our union leaders continue to work closely together to ensure that United Airlines can meet the needs of our customers today and in the future.”
