New Partnership Establishes AREMIS(tm) Direct, An Online System That Enables Consumers To Book Reservations Directly
Atlanta, GA - AREMIS (a SoftBrands company) announced today that it has signed a distribution agreement with Newtrade Technologies Inc., the travel commerce machinery company, building and marketing advanced systems that streamline travel, tourism and hospitality commerce.

Under the terms of this agreement, AREMIS will market, install and support Newtrade`s web-based “portal” systems (or streamlined links that connect Internet users to information) under the brand name, AREMIS Direct. AREMIS Direct will support AREMIS customers by allowing potential guests and travel agents to seamlessly book from hotel and resort web sites, Internet portals, and GDS.

“By creating AREMIS Direct, we will combine the technology developed by Newtrade with our solutions and provide our customers the opportunity to accept Internet reservations directly into their systems,” commented Mark Sadosky, AREMIS Executive Vice President Sales and Operations.

This agreement enables AREMIS to provide the industry with a single provider of GDS, C/Res, and PMS solutions.”
