Benchmark adds videoconferencing services

Benchmark Hospitality, a resort management company based here, added videoconferencing services to its meeting package.

The offer is available to planners who book meetings at select Benchmark properties through March 2002. A minimum of 150 room nights is required.


Included in the offer are the following components:

? Point-to-point videoconferencing in the continental U.S. and Canada, featuring a modular system, camera, microphones, projector and screen.

? Three high-speed Internet lines.

? Two hours of long-distance service.

? One hour of service from an on-site technician.


Standard elements of Benchmark`s complete meeting package are dinner on the night of arrival; overnight guest room accommodations; breakfast, lunch and continuous refreshment service throughout the day; meetings space; the service of a conference-planning manager; concierge services, and standard audiovisual equipment.

Ten Benchmark properties—nine in the U.S. and one in Canada—are offering the videoconferencing service.
