New Malaysia And South Korea Sites.

New English language tourism websites have been launched for travellers in both Malaysia and South Korea.

The Korea National Tourism Organization (KNTO) has set up a major English-language tourism website (see address below). The new site offers in-depth information on Korea, including weather, exchange rates, transportation, accommodation and reservations services, news and a photo gallery. Extensive sections on sightseeing, food & shopping, festivals and culture in addition to many links, such as the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan site, are also featured.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism has launched a new tourism portal as well (see below). The e-commerce facilities offered allow tourists to carry out online bookings for accommodation, theatre, transportation and many other services. It will function in tandem with Tourism Malaysia`s main site (see below). The new portal launched last month provides comprehensive and dynamic travel information on Malaysia and offers e-commerce capabilities.
