easyJet and HostelWorld.com enter tie-up

easyJet has announced a new partnership with budget accommodation site HostelWorld.com, to offer hostels, B&B and guesthouse accommodation to easyJet customers.

The partnership will mean that easyJet customers have access to Hostelworld.com’s inventory of over 20,000 properties in 170 countries worldwide, including all easyJet destinations, through easyJet.com.Reservations are secured by paying a 10% deposit, with the balance paid on arrival. The new service will be promoted via the easyJet homepage and dynamically via the customer’s flight confirmation screen.

The partnership will also allow easyJet customers access to photos and map searches as well as viewing user reviews and ratings to make an informed choice.

The collaboration between easyJet and HostelWorld.com aims to tap the current economic climate and the shift towards budget travel.
