SynXis secures Precise contract

SynXis has announced that The Precise Hotel Collection, one of Germany’s newest first class hotel chains, has selected SynXis as its distribution partner. SynXis will help Precise Hotels brand its properties across all distribution channels throughout Europe including hundreds of thousands of travel agents using the Global Distribution Systems (GDS), the leading online travel sites and its own chain website.

The Precise Hotel Collection needed one Central Reservation System (CRS) provider that could quickly and seamlessly implement all of their hotels to a new system.  After recently switching its eight properties to the RedX Distribution Management System as its single distribution platform, The Precise Hotel Collection has already benefited from several RedX features designed to drive incremental revenue including:  dynamic packaging to sell breakfasts, wine, etc. along with a guest room and the ability to load promotions specific to stays of three nights or longer.  The properties have seen quick results with some hotels reporting increases in bookings of up to 26%.

RedX is available in German and SynXis offers local support in Germany, both important to Precise Hotels when selecting a new distribution provider.  Florian Harz, revenue and e-commerce manager for The Precise Hotel Collection comments:  “SynXis provides us with exactly the right mix of resources, system functionality, and expertise we were looking for in a distribution partner.  Their experience, especially in the German market, is a great advantage for us as we launch our brand and as we make plans for future growth.”

In addition to seamless connectivity to the distribution channels, The Precise Hotel Collection will also benefit from SynXis’ Property ConnectSM to seamlessly integrate data between RedX and the chain’s Property Management System.  The two-way interface improves hotel efficiencies with automated reservation delivery, as well as inventory, rates, and restriction (stay controls) uploads.

“It is our pleasure to welcome this strong and promising brand to SynXis’ portfolio,” said Scott Alvis, president and general manager for SynXis.  “Our business from the EMEA region has grown over 35% in the past year and we remain committed to putting resources in markets like Germany to support that growth.”
