EU ban hits Indonesia’s tourism

The EU’s ban on Indonesian airlines serving flights has begun to impact on the nation’s tourism, with a 40 percent decline in the number of foreign visitors to the ancient city of Yogyakarta. A number of plans of meeting and incentive tours have been cancelled more because of psychological impact of the ban as there was no Indonesian airline serving flight to Europe even before the ban is effective, the Congress and Convention Association (INCCA) said.
