Hotelzon International has appointed HTI Travel in Budapest as their agent for Hungary. HTI Travel is an incoming travel agency, established in 1993. The company has close relations to Hungarian hotels and also to hotels in other Eastern European countries.

As agent for Hotelzon, HTI Travel will bring the full Hotelzon product portfolio to the Hungarian market. The Hotelzon Online system has been translated to Hungarian, and with this system will both Hungarian corporate clients as well as international companies operating in Hungary be able to concentrate all their hotel bookings to one channel and thus achieve substantial savings in their hotel costs.

With Hotelzon Webconnect, Hungarian hotels will in turn be able to offer their rooms for sale directly to corporate clients. In addition to this, Hotelzon and HTI offer Hotelzon GDS Access and Hotelzon Booking Engine as new distribution solutions now available also for Hungarian hotels. These solutions are already in use in thousands of hotels all over the globe.

HTI Travel has a turnover of € 3 M and a staff of nine in the Budapest office and two in a newly established subsidiary in Vienna. The company’s joint Managing Directors and owners are Mr Mertsi Lindfors and Ms Dóra Kovács.

Hotelzon International has three business lines: hotel booking technology, corporate hotel booking services and distribution services for hotels. The company has subsidiaries in the UK, Sweden, Finland and China as well as agents in among other countries Belgium and Italy. Hotelzon’s technology produces over one million room nights in 2007. The company has a staff of 86 in five countries.
