Press: Etihad appoints Gulf’s Hogan as CEO

James Hogan, who resigned from Gulf Air, could join Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways as chief executive on October 1.
Bahrain’s Al Wasat newspaper reported the news on Thursday, without saying how it got the information.

Bahrain-based airline Gulf Air has replaced Hogan with its vice president of finance, Ahmed al-Hammadi. He will become acting president and chief executive as of October 1.

A company statement said Hammadi replaces James Hogan who had held the post for four years, until a new president and CEO is named.
