Low fares business class airline, silverjet, is appointing of Andria Piekarz as President US with responsibility for silverjet’s US operation.

Andria has over 18 year’s experience and marketing, brand, sales, ecommerce and strategic customer management in the travel industry.  She played a key role in the entry and subsequent development of STA Travel, the global leader in independent and youth travel, in the US and Canada. Andria developed STA’s North American sales channels including agents, wholesalers, call centre and retail.

Andria served in number of positions at STA including Director of National Sales Operations before being promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing where she was responsible for developing the marketing and sales organization, growing the business entrepreneurially from approximately $14 million to $240 million. She became Executive Vice President for Market Development in 2003 where her responsibility included management and rapid development of STA Travel’s internet presence.
