Lockheed Martin, Travelocity Biz join forces

Lockheed Martin Corporation is signing a five-year agreement to use Travelocity Business as its global corporate travel management provider. Beginning in September, Travelocity Business will support Lockheed Martin’s global travel program that represents more than 80,000 frequent travelers worldwide.

The largest provider of IT services, systems integration and training to the U.S. government, Lockheed Martin is also well respected for setting forth new standards in business travel management, and in helping to shape the use of technology to streamline travel processes.

As part of the agreement, Travelocity Business will provide its full range of online and offline services to Lockheed Martin, including twenty-four hour agency support, online booking, automated fulfillment capabilities, and support services for VIP, international, and meetings-related travel. Lockheed Martin will also work with the Travelocity Business Consulting unit to explore opportunities to optimize its supplier programs.

“We are looking forward to working with Travelocity Business to provide Lockheed Martin travelers with the most efficient and effective travel experience possible,” said Richard Wooten, director of Corporate Travel Services for Lockheed Martin.

“Lockheed Martin has always been innovative in its approach to corporate travel management, and that makes them a perfect fit for Travelocity Business,” said Ellen Keszler, president of Corporate Solutions for Sabre Holdings Corporation. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Lockheed Martin to develop even more new ways to manage corporate travel that break the traditional mold.”
