United Airlines has announced its summer timetable for 2006 with a new second daily service from London Heathrow to Los Angeles United will be offering 182 non-stop services per week from cities across Europe, including London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Munich and Zurich.

The timetable includes an additional non-stop daily service between London Heathrow Airport and Los Angeles International Airport, effective 9 June 2006. In total, United will be offering 28 non-stop services from London Heathrow to California each week

Convenient for the business and leisure traveler, United flight UA 939 will depart London Heathrow at 1:25 p.m., arriving in Los Angeles at 5:03p.m. the same day. The return flight, UA 948, will depart Los Angeles at 13:02 p.m. and arrives at London Heathrow at 7:40 a.m. the following day.

The summer schedule for London Heathrow also includes:

* Twice-daily to San Francisco

* Three daily to Chicago

* Four daily to Washington DC

* Daily service to New York

Additional services from Europe for the summer include:

Extra service from Frankfurt to Washington DC (twice daily service for the summer period)

A daily service from Amsterdam to Chicago returns for the summer.
